Big Big Big news to Filipinos in Riyadh Saudi Arabia this year! Its true! Famous Food Chain JOLLIBEE is now being erected in here this January 2011. With a city populous of filipino workers, thousands are now anticipating the opening of a new branch of Jollibee. Famous food chains have dominated Riyadh already with the names of McDonalds, Herfy, KFC, Pizzahut but now another food chain will make this franchises shake their counters for another family member has come.
Me and my colleagues happened to visit the actual location of the new Jollibee franchise this afternoon January 13, 2011 in the famous filipino market named BATHA, we were surprise how fast the building in being done, the icon of Jollibee is already hanging on the 3-story building. Batha is the favorite shopping market of filipino workers in riyadh, there you can buy groceries, fresh meats, vegetables and all filipino brand products. It is also considered "hang outs" of filipinos especially thursdays and fridays.
This is the second time Jollibee will operate in Riyadh KSA, since the former was closed down for some issues. The former site of Jollibee was in the building of now named MANILA PLAZA, two blocks away from the newest building being constructed now.
Jollibee location is on the side of the road between CITI Food Court building and Sky Freight building. Upon reaching the road inside batha market, you can easily seen it on the left side before reaching the Electron market. One can easily view the Jollibee Building if you are standing on Pinoy Market.
